To date, more than 7,200 Starlight Gaming stations (previously known as Fun Centers) have been sponsored by companies, foundations and individuals, and are being enjoyed by thousands of pediatric patients at hospitals across North America. We understand the importance of keeping your Gaming stations up and running to provide continued support and endless hours of entertainment and distraction for the patients in your hospitals. With that in mind, Starlight teamed up with Nintendo of America to provide you a place where you can access additional interactive information on how to troubleshoot and further benefit from the Gaming stations in your hospital.

The Benefits

The Starlight Gaming stations (Wii, Wii U, and Switch) are mobile entertainment stations powered by Nintendo’s latest gaming consoles. It rolls bedside – or almost anywhere – to provide physical therapy activities, distractive entertainment, or just some must-needed play time during a child’s healing process.

Starlight Gaming stations play an important role in the overall health and well-being of pediatric patients. Nurses, physicians, and child-life specialists report that stations:

• Engage and entertain children during long hours of treatment or extended stays

• Distract children from stress of illness and painful or complicated medical procedures

• Reduce the need for pain medication
